In East African Swahili, Harambee is a work chant or rallying cry, which means working together. Falling in the heart of Black History Month, the Harambee Celebration is proud to salute minority business entrepreneurs. The 2017 Harambee Celebration will recognize awardees that embody outstanding leadership, strong business foundations, superior products and services, tenacious entrepreneurial drive, clear sustainability objectives and comprehensive commitment to impacting communities by creating jobs and driving economic impact.
